By 2028, the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity says that “Illinois homes, businesses, and community anchor institutions throughout the state will have access to at least one provider offering 100/20 Mbps service”.

Our goal is to deliver better internet to homes and businesses throughout the city and rural areas of Mattoon for  internet equity. This would involve access to affordable, reliable and better internet for rural and urban citizens through the best means possible.

Thanks to our partnership with the Benton Institute for Broadband & Society – we’ve received a grant award for Mattoon to help plan broadband expansion in our community.
